Maybe Genesis too, if had someone else to play with, because would be nice to check co-op too. I will definitely not replay it too often. Kill x bad guys, someone will betray You. But they just forgot what is this game about. They tried to make Dark Souls out of it, pretending it will be hard. Game was nice, but definitely the worst of all 4 we have now.
#Darksiders 3 gameplay how to
Also Horseman without horse, just because they didn't have idea how to implement it. Also the death restarting You to the last save position was annoying. That was most interesting part of the game. And the fact that You couldn't just rebind hollow to another weapon. That You had to use various abilities, not the weapons with different elemental power. As long as You get new one, You never used the older. I liked the hollows, but they were redundant. It made too much inconsistencies, like why would some random relics be scattered on Earth? Why wouldn't they be here on Earth later when War was there? The game has interesting idea, but terrible execution. They tried to hard to be Dark Souls, and failed to be both Dark Souls and Darksiders. It's formally called fake difficulty (see in TVtropes about what that means). Because most issues is the controls, not the gameplay itself. I now shall wait patiently for the info on the next game and get it as soon as I can. It had a really interesting story, was quite challanging (and different than before, so people had mixed opinions) and contained a lot of enemies to slay and that's what I want in the Darksiders games. I had fun playing it, even more on Armageddon than on first playthrough (and I usually don't like playing the same thing multiple times). Main menu theme music, ahhh *chef's kiss* Maybe not as amazing as in DS2 (GUARDIAN BOSS BATTLE MUSIC) but it set the game in the right mood and had that Darksiders vibe. Anyway, really nice visuals.Īwesome as always. Look worse than the game itself but it is what it is. I felt like it had more diversivety that DS1 and 2 in terms of areas and background. (For the record - it took me 49.3hrs to 100% the game). Small FOV and cramped rooms really did not help. Also, the camera sometimes really drew me mad. Personally, I'd love some more RPG style personalisation, like in DS2, with armor pieces that you can see and mix and so on. Yet I understand that people may not like it. The gameplay is different than that in Darksiders 1 and 2 but it is not a bad thing.
Thou again, I started using at Armageddon 1. Also all this elemental stuff with Hollows - awesome. I started to use those souls after the Lust fight or even later on so. I also forgot/didn't know that I can destroy those pieces to get souls. But it didn't feel like unfair, more like "ok, I have to practice and master it all". Sloth and Gluttony were probably the hardest. I played the first playthrough on Apocalyptic and the bosses really got me mad at times. Perhaps I didn't use consumables enough (hoarding hoarding). I had to spent couple hours to get used to the fighting style and stategy but once I got it - it was satisfying. This game is harder that the previous ones.
I could feel that she is changing throught the game but the final plot twist still shocked me. It was nice to see Ulthane, many things are clear now (like how he is in possesion of Strife's gun). Vulgrim being Vulgrim, iconic as always and the story behind Serpent Holes is really interesting. Right now my Horseman tierlist is: Fury > Death > Strife > War The fact she rejected temptations from all the Sins and got furious when Lust "made" her brothers kneel show her development and care for others. Her reaction to Rampage's death really touched me. She has temper, she is proud and she seems really powerfull - and she has a decent character development here. Td dr - I really love this game thou I understand the negativity towards itĭamn, I love Fury.
